@NOLACityCouncil For these reasons, we reject the entirety of the CPC's recommendations in favor of an outright ban, a superior solution that would be much more easily implemented and enforced than any of the CPC's proposed measures.

@NOLACityCouncil As written, these regulations would do nothing to stop the trend of STR proliferation pricing residents out of their homes, neighborhoods, and city, or the concentration of a significant portion of the city's housing stock in the hands of a few STR proprietors.

@NOLACityCouncil The CPC's proposal is completely inadequate. Rather than reducing the number of STRs, these regulations would permit two STRs on every block - far more than what already exists. Further, they feature at least one major loophole that would bypass even those meager limitations.
